IIT Guwahati Mess Food

All the hostel messes at IIT Guwahati are assured to be serving the best food. Students hardly complain about the food as they are satisfied with it.

As for those who are non-vegetarian, the mess takes care of that also. They serve non-veg twice a week for dinner in the form of chicken and egg kadhi. Sadly, there are no other options besides these.

However, the quantity and quality of food live up to the expectations of a prestigious institute like IIT. Also, if you wish to have a change of taste you have plenty of other options like the in-hostel canteen and other food facilities on the campus.

Another perk of the IITG hostel is having a pantry. Yes! The children have access to the pantry to cook their meals once in a while. That means you can treat your midnight hunger pangs with Maggi.
